The orcs are the best army in WHFB, hands-down! Nowhere else will you find such a combination of Strength, Grtistle, Full-bodied Savagery and Abject Stupidity in such great amounts. The Orcs & Goblins list offers one of the widest variety of different troops (with the possible exception of their nemesis, the Empire) which can be adapted to just about any play style. However, just about all Orc & Goblin Generals have at least one thing in common - that goofy lopsided grin we all get when we get to watch our lads beat the piss out of enemy and send them packing off the back of the board.

In this little essay we will examine the Greenskin armies and what makes them so great. Hopefully we will also learn a little bit about how to win games with them, or at least how to have a smashing good time by smashing things. We will not only look at the various troop types in detail, but touch a little bit on orcy philosophy and strategy as well.

One thing that I will note for the record is that the bulk of this tactica is somewhat biased towards my own personal play style, which features large numbers of core infantry and a minimum of magic. Towards the end I will discuss some other play styles, but bear in mind that when I make recommendations I am talking about what works for ME and you must of course factor in your own experience as well.
